Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and experience with Property Management Software. As a Jr Property Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
We ask that you reside within a 1-2 hour drive from Atlanta, Georgia

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger reconciliation for multiple properties
  • Manage accounts payable and account analysis
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for property portfolios
  • Utilize financial acumen to interpret and analyze financial data
  • Conduct double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accuracy of financial transactions

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of high volume accounting experience preferred
  • 2 years of property management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Quicken and other accounting software
  • Ability to perform detailed financial statement preparation
  • Excellent analytical skills for financial report interpretation
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and variance analysis

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation for real estate properties
  • Proficiency in accounts payable processes within property accounting
  • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques in property management
