We work predominantly with estate agents, property managers and landlords, carrying out reactive maintenance, planned works and property refurbishments across residential properties.

This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident communicating with clients, tenants and tradespeople and who can stay organised while managing several jobs at the same time.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and managing new maintenance instructions from estate agents and property managers.
  • Booking appointments with tenants and arranging access to properties.
  • Allocating jobs to engineers and tradespeople.
  • Managing and updating the company diary.
  • Following up with contractors and operatives regarding outstanding works.
  • Providing clients with progress updates.
  • Preparing and sending quotations and estimates.
  • Sending completed job reports, photographs and invoices to clients.
  • Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring works are progressed and completed.
  • Liaising with tenants regarding appointments, access and maintenance issues.
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
  • Keeping job management systems and records up to date.
  • Assisting with larger refurbishment projects and planned maintenance works where required.
  • General administrative support to the company director and operational team.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise their workload.
  • Confident speaking with estate agents, landlords, tenants and contractors.
  • Comfortable dealing with a busy reactive maintenance environment.
  • Professional and confident on the telephone and by email.
  • Able to work independently and use initiative.
  • Good at following up and making sure outstanding jobs do not get forgotten.
  • Comfortable using computers, email and job management systems.
  • Able to remain calm when dealing with urgent repairs or changing schedules.
