THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Property Administrator plays a key role in supporting our agency’s goals by providing exceptional customer service for tenants at the Innovation Saskatchewan Research and Technology (R+T) Park in Saskatoon. From administering contracts and managing data to supporting day-to-day property activities, your work will directly contribute to creating an environment where innovation flourishes.
We are looking for someone who combines technical know-how with a people-first approach. The ideal candidate understands property management practices and is comfortable analyzing budgets and managing billing records. You must be adaptable, detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with tenants at the R+T Park.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing the Property Management team with information in preparation for monthly variance analysis, quarterly forecasting and annual capital & operations budgeting.
  • Preparing operating cost reports, including cost estimates for tenants and year-end reconciliation.
  • Analyzing historic trends, year-to-date expenditures and forecasting data to compile reports.
  • Processing monthly tenant billings by verifying rent rolls, generating late fees and reviewing pre-authorized & electronic payments.
  • Tracking and collecting overdue accounts, processing write-offs and reviewing deposits for discrepancies.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations and contributing to annual management reports.
  • Producing reports, invoices, statements, waivers and other system-generated documents as needed.
  • Serving as primary contact for tenant inquiries and rental account issues, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Documenting and tracking service contracts with tenants and processing new service requests.
  • Coordinating tenant moves to support efficient and well-organized transitions.
  • Overseeing tenant insurance renewals and confirming compliance with lease requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate tenant contact information in the Contract Management database.
  • Assisting with the development, implementation, administration and evaluation of various property management policies and procedures.
  • Preparing requests for information from City Assessors office and calculating annual property tax allocations.
  • Collaborating with the Finance and Administration team to enhance MRI program capabilities & processes.
  • Supporting the Property Management admin team and providing reception coverage as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
