Description

Purpose: Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of government and company property book items governed by FAR 52.245-1, in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in Property Book inventory or property accountability is required.
  • Must have knowledge of the FAR 52.245-1.
  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport.
  • Valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • MHE experience preferred.
  • 92Y MOS preferred.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Must have experience using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1, DA PAM 710-2-1 Unit Supply System, AR 710-2 Supply Policy Below the National Level and AR 735-5 Property Accountability Policies.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office suite and related applications.
  • Must be able to work independently and self-motivated with little or no supervision.
  • Must have high-level of organizational and planning skills.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Property Book Sensitive/Cyclic/Special inventories, to include Change-of-Hand-Receipt and Annual Property Book Hand Receipt inventories.
  • Processing of Property Book Administrative Adjust Reports, Property Book Lateral Transfers, Property Book Temporary Hand-Receipts, Property Book Discrepancy Reports.
  • Maintains and posts Property Book transactions to an automated Property Book system (OnPoint) for accounting of Class II, III, IV & VII, organizational and company-owned supplies, and equipment.
  • Gathers Property Book information for submission to support daily, weekly, and monthly Property Book reports sent to Property Book Officer/Logistics Manager.
  • Schedules and performs preventive and organizational maintenance on government furnished property and materials using maintenance support documents.
  • Orders, receives, stores, inspects, load/unload, maintains and issues material and Property Book equipment to support daily operations.
  • Assists in Property Book (Major End-Items NOT repair parts) accountability records. Determines condition of material and equipment in conjunction with Quality Control.
  • Arranges disposal through PCARSS as required.
  • Maintains accountability of government furnished property assigned to the directorate/department in accordance with requirements of the Federal Acquisitions Regulation.
  • Locate and acquire standard and nonstandard equipment and property book items through military and nonmilitary supply sources.
  • Maintains Property Book files in accordance with Army Records Information Management System.
  • Establishes and maintains Property Book primary hand receipts and sub-hand receipts as required.
  • Prepares and processes property loss reports and statement of charges on lost, destroyed, or damaged equipment (LTDD).
  • Assists in resolving property book inventory and/or system problems.
  • Generates reports as directed.
  • Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AMENTUM Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AMENTUM Quality Management System.
  • Ensures compliance with the Command Supply Discipline Program, as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
