QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in property or finance/commerce.
  • 1 -2 years experience in the property or finance sector.
  • Experience in property analytics, deal advisory, valuations or banking/non-bank lending.
  • Possess strong analytical and research skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Argus and Estate Master or similar financial modelling programs looked upon favourably.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a Property Analyst to join us in Melbourne. You will join a dynamic team with a focus on culture and excellence. The role of Property Analyst provides an opportunity to work and develop your skills in a team of over 40 Real Estate professionals across Australia with diverse backgrounds in development and construction, valuation, sales and marketing, property law, contract administration, funds management and investment banking.
The role will provide broad exposure across our real estate business; working with some of Australia’s most regarded corporate entities, not for profit clients, the government sector, as well as high net worth private individuals.

Key responsibilities and opportunities include:

  • Assisting on a range of engagements across corporate advisory, special situations, development management and investment management.
  • Assist and oversee transaction management and development management of distressed property - designing and executing transaction processes that protect and recover value.
  • Undertaking detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  • Assisting with due-diligence investigations on a variety of assets classes.
  • Conducting research and analysis of various asset sectors and market trends and produce succinct reports/ presentations.
  • Work in a supportive team environment, one where we place high importance on the development of skills and knowledge, via on-the-job learning and formal training.
