Job Description We are seeking an aspiring, technically competent retail property Analyst to join our Retail Capital Markets team. The role, based in the Sydney CBD, is to assist with campaign preparation, market research and analysis key to executing sale campaigns of retail properties across the Australian retail market. This role will be actively involved through the campaign lifecycle, from providing key input into submission and campaign marketing material to undertaking financial analysis and indicative asset pricing. The scope of the role will include: Provision of financial / cash flow modelling for retail assets and compilation of information for use in submissions, pitches, and information memorandums. Coordinating comprehensive financial and technical due diligence and assistance with handling associated enquiries during campaigns, including lease reviews and outgoings benchmarking exercises. Research and analysis of relevant market information / intelligence. Manage the key data sources of the team including sales data, valuation data, operating agreement data and other sector specific data. Assisting in the development of the opportunity pipeline. Prepare client progress reports on campaigns and attend client meetings. Qualifications The skills and experience you will bring to this role include: Ideally the right person for the role will be an experienced analyst within a commercial property business with experience ideally across the retail asset class wanting to join a high-performing national team. Other requirements: University Degree Qualified. CPV Qualified – highly desirable. Advanced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and MS-Project). Excellent Communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to converse with all level of staff from senior level management to technical staff. Understanding of local retail property market and current trends. Ability to work competently to achieve key milestone dates.
