Responsibilities

FIND PURPOSE AND IMPACT

Make an impact by working within a small cohesive team that takes pride in their work, as a Property and Land Development Administration Officer, you’ll play an essential, hands-on role in the continued growth and development of our region. You’ll get to help with interesting, diverse matters such as undertaking administration work for land investigations and working on matters that will help shape our region.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Provide the Property and Land Development team, including the Manager, with accurate and efficient administrative support on a priority needs basis
  • Monitor the Property and Land Development branch costings and purchases for daily operation in accordance with the purchasing and procurement policy
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of building access/ security cards, building facilities management, and internal parking permits
  • Maintain high level skills in the operation of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database and other computer applications relevant to the organisation
  • Undertake regular filing, processing, clearing and triaging correspondence inboxes, and responding to general property enquiries involving Council-owned and/ or Council-controlled property
  • Open and close database files where requiredEnsure internal procedural and administrative requirements are met

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or related discipline
  • Previous experience in the provision of administrative support services to supervisory levels
  • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in business related computer software eg. Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentialit
