Responsibilities

FIND PURPOSE AND IMPACT

Working within a small cohesive team that takes pride in their work, as a Property and Land Development Officer, you’ll play an essential, hands-on role in the continued growth and development of our region. You’ll get stuck into interesting, diverse challenges such as undertaking land investigations with the particular focus on the renewable energy zone.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Assisting the Manager by providing input and implementing strategic plans and internal documents.
  • Supporting opportunities that align with the Council’s goals and bring positive benefits.
  • Working on some unique and diverse projects.
  • Assisting with property matters like easements, road closures, and land acquisitions to support Council objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Certificate IV in Administration or Real Estate Practice or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Solid experience in a property-related field.
  • High level organisational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple property-related files and adhering to deadlines.
  • Highly developed planning and negotiation skills.
