About the team Our Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team is proudly committed to supporting businesses across Australia and strengthening regional communities. The RAB business is made up of a number of diverse sales and service teams, along with operational and support teams. We have over 700 people, located in over 70 sites across Australia. We have multiple roles available throughout Australia, and are currently recruiting for Career Comeback opportunities across Newcastle, Central Coast, Tamworth, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns, Darwin, Geelong, Hobart, and Canberra. About the role We’re in the business of relationships - and that’s where you come in. As a Property Banker, you’ll provide meaningful solutions for an existing portfolio of commercial property development and investment clients, focussing on clients with exposures of $20m up to $100m with complex financial needs. Your relationship management experience, property insights and expertise, along with our range of innovative products and services will help you move these businesses forward and grow our client base. You’ll be supported by experienced analysts, market-leading technology and a broad range of products and solutions to set you up for success. In this role, you will: Build and nurture relationships with existing clients, while identifying new opportunities to grow the property portfolio Partner with clients to deeply understand their needs and connect them with tailored financial solutions Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions; and Own and drive the proactive risk management responsibilities of the portfolio, working collaboratively with the Analyst teams to support high quality credit submissions We’d love to hear from you if you: Have taken a career break of two years or more (essential) Bring strong business acumen and a track record of portfolio growth Have proven experience in property finance and development transactions Are confident in financial analysis and credit decisioning, with a solid grasp of cash-flow drivers Are a natural relationship builder who enjoys being part of a community and helping others succeed Ready to make your comeback?
