Myth vs Reality — what this job really is MYTH: “It’s complicated hotel work.” REALITY: Tasks are structured and repetitive in a good way. You clean assigned public areas, corridors, staff zones and operational spaces. You follow clear routines. MYTH: “It’s the same as housekeeping.” REALITY: Housekeeping focuses on guest rooms. Cleaning Support focuses on common areas and keeping the hotel environment organized and presentable. MYTH: “It’s random and chaotic.” REALITY: Your day follows a schedule. You know your zones, your responsibilities and your working hours. MYTH: “It’s low value.” REALITY: Clean entrances, tidy hallways and organized surroundings are part of the guest’s first impression. Your role directly supports the overall experience. MYTH: “Working abroad is stressful.” REALITY: This position is based in Greece. You relocate for the season, but accommodation is organized before you arrive. MYTH: “It’s just temporary and doesn’t matter.” REALITY: Completing a season abroad shows discipline, adaptability and responsibility — especially in structured hospitality environments. Important: This job is located in Greece. You relocate for the full season and live near or on-site at the hotel. EU passport required. If you are reliable, physically active and looking for an entry-level job abroad without experience requirements — join our Hotel Cleaning Support team in Greece. MYTH: “You need professional cleaning experience.” REALITY: No previous experience is required. You receive clear instructions on site. What matters most is reliability and willingness to work. MYTH: “Living abroad is expensive.” REALITY: Housing is provided and meals are included. You don’t search for apartments or manage rental contracts. MYTH: “You won’t save anything.” REALITY: With accommodation and food covered, many team members are able to save part of their income during the season.
