OKANAGAN PREMIER IS HIRING A PROPERTY CARE SPECIALIST!

We specialize in high-end Vacation Rentals and are seeking mature and driven individuals who execute strong attention to detail. This role will specialize in the care and maintenance of all properties we manage.
The ideal candidate will be able to take full ownership of our properties (currently 8 total, with the possibility of more), providing the TLC needed throughout the year with deep cleans during off-season to prep for the winter and then maintaining our high standards during the season to provide a consistent experience for all guests.
Applicants must possess strong self-motivation to work independently, have a flexible schedule and have transportation, smartphone, and be reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Inspect all cleanliness details of rooms, including but not limited to kitchen areas, washrooms, lighting, beds (including underneath), etc.
  • Manage and carry out maintenance tasks as required, including overseeing 3rd parties.
  • Complete maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency, whilst tracking and documenting all work completed.
  • Responsible for cleaning assigned areas according to company standards to ensure a clean environment for guests and fellow staff members.
  • Responsible for taking care of a building’s general cleanliness to provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests and residents.
  • Duties include cleaning floors, making beds and dusting surfaces throughout a home, hotel room or building.
  • You should have excellent housekeeping skills, good communication and the ability to follow instructions.
  • You should have a heightened level of awareness and attention to detail.
  • The job also requires a certain level of physical strength, so the ideal candidate will be fit enough to walk and bend for extended periods. You may also have to lift heavy items and use the staircase multiple times during shifts.
  • You should be adept at time management because you must quickly prepare rooms before guests check in.
  • Another attribute of a great Property Care Specialist is uniformity. You should be able to recreate the same settings with little or no supervision.
  • Make sure all housekeeping/maintenance storages are stocked and organized.
  • Ensure all important information is passed along to all relevant staff.
  • Ensure productivity and quality of work standards are maintained across all properties.
  • We do require a valid BC driver’s license, as this role requires driving to and from locations. It also may require the occasional transport of housekeepers between properties using a company vehicle.
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned.
    We do ask for professional references.
    Applicants must have legal permission to work in Canada to be considered.
