Description 5th on Main located at 517 Main St Hopkins MN is currently seeking to hire an experienced Property Caretaker. Caretakers take care of the maintenance and security of the community areas of the buildings and property. Their duties include cleaning, performing simple repairs and maintenance tasks and performing security checks. Caretaker position requires. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary. Caretaker may live on or off site. Part Time: Hours and days will vary. Benefits Include: Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life Insurance, 401k & matching. Pay starts at $21 - $23 per hour depending on experience. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: Daily duties Clean exterior windows and doors. Clean hallways, entry, and laundry in all buildings daily Open & secure lobby for main building daily Uses checklist to ensure attention to detail for Turns. Completes turn timely and with high quality. Grounds are clean, well maintained and improved as needed. Plants are maintained. Salt/Sand sidewalks and parking lot as needed. Weekly inspection of laundry rooms. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Detail-oriented and thorough. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Ability to keep the property clean and orderly. Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to the property. Ability to work independently. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must pass a background check. Must have 1 year experience as caretaker or combination of relevant skills. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing/walking. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Willingness to work varying shift lengths depending on seasonal demands.
