OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-focused and reliable individual to join our housekeeping support team as a Smart Welcome Specialist. This role is vital in ensuring our guests consistently receive the highest standards. The checker will complete final inspections of properties after cleaning, ensuring every home is spotless, stocked, and perfectly presented for arrival. A company vehicle will be provided when on shift.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct detailed post-clean inspections of properties.
  • Ensure standards of cleanliness and presentation are met.
  • Check and top-up guest supplies.
  • Report and record maintenance or stock issues.
  • Carry out light touch-ups where needed.
  • Provide daily feedback to the Head Housekeeper.

TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Inspecting each property after housekeeping has finished.
  • Checking cleanliness standards have been met (floors, bathrooms, beds, kitchens, bins).
  • Ensuring consumables and guest amenities are topped up (toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.).
  • Checking that cutlery, crockery, and glassware are clean and correctly stocked.
  • Straightening furniture, fluffing cushions, and ensuring beds look immaculate.
  • Checking welcome packs / information folders are in place.
  • Spot-cleaning any missed areas (fingerprints, smudges, dust).
  • Replacing missing or damaged small items (where stock available).
  • Reporting maintenance issues (light bulbs, leaks, handles, appliances not working).
  • Checking heating, lighting, and appliances are working.
  • Securing property: doors/windows locked as required.
  • Sending a brief checklist report (tick box style) back to management via WhatsApp/app.
    Hours: Initially part-time, mainly afternoons/early evenings, with potential for growth.

    Pay: From £12.21 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
