In this vital role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of services, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, property projects. This could include working on programmes delivering new school and council buildings, maintenance and repair of the existing estate or the expansion and improvement of councils service delivery buildings. You will work with operational and strategic teams to define the brief and scope of required projects and work closely with the Councils property partner, Arc Partnership, to ensure successful delivery.

We are looking for someone who possesses:

  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Insightful abilities and the capacity to make evidence-based decisions.
  • A commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of service users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • An interest in developing commissioning expertise and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Experience in delivering projects

Join us and be part of a team that is:

  • Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Focused on achieving value for money and maximizing the benefits of the Council’s property assets for the people of Nottinghamshire.
  • Dedicated to creating an inclusive and respectful working environment.

You will be educated to degree level or have significant relevant experience and able to demonstrate experience of successful delivery of property projects at all stages, from strategic definition to handover, across projects of varying scale and complexity. The role is within the Property Commissioning team. You will work to a high professional standard, taking a dynamic role in managing risk and health & safety.
We can offer you a number of benefits such as support with your own personal development, childcare voucher scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, local government pension scheme and flexible working arrangements.
