PROPERTY DATA VALIDATION OFFICER

Location: Kensington & Chelsea
Salary: £23.20 per hour (PAYE) | £29.07 per hour (Umbrella)
Seven Resourcing is seeking a detail-oriented Property Data Validation Officer to join the Asset Management team within Kensington & Chelsea Council. This role is essential in producing, managing, and validating accurate property-based asset intelligence data. Your work will directly support informed decision-making by Council officers, service providers, Central Government, and local residents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher Education qualification (BTEC, NVQ, HNC, diploma, or equivalent) in IT/Computer Science or relevant experience.
  • Advanced IT skills with experience in Power Query, SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, and VBA.
  • Strong experience in retrieving, collating, manipulating, quality assuring, and presenting data.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop council property data, systems, and business processes to support effective asset management of social housing stock.
  • Design, run, and interpret reports, data models, and extracts using Power Query (Power BI/Excel), SQL, VBA, or similar tools.
  • Assist in producing statutory returns, stock condition reports, and performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support health and safety compliance through accurate tracking of inspections, maintenance, and servicing of assets, including gas, electrical, fire protection, lifts, and water quality.
  • Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for Asset Information Systems users.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and high-quality data collection and reporting.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to existing processes to enhance data accuracy and system efficiency.
