JOB INTRODUCTION

We are currently looking for an Estate Manager to join our Land and Natural Resources Team. We can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and we offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under their own initiative working remotely.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Estate Manager you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:

• Day to day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
• Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return
• Optimising rental income opportunities generated through Tarmac’s land portfolio
• Budgeting, forecasting and approving property related expenditure including rents and maintenance costs
• Instructing and managing external consultants and agents

To be successful in the role you will have proven knowledge and experience of:

• Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation
• Industrial and commercial property market agency in the UK
• Skilled negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management matters
• Strategic and innovative thinking and decision making
• Mineral and renewable energy related property experience is of interest, but not essential
• MRICS qualifie
