Responsibilities

THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented Property Finance Analyst to join our Retail Finance team in Sydney, reporting to the Portfolio Finance Manager. In this key role, you’ll deliver high-quality financial and management reporting across a diverse asset portfolio.
As a core member of the team, you will contribute to all asset management finance activities—providing accurate, timely, and insightful information to support decision-making and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements. This is a great chance to play a vital role in managing a significant property portfolio within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Preparing month-end journals including accruals and prepayments; complete balance sheet reconciliations. Produce monthly management reports with variance analysis and present findings to the asset team. Liaise with external managers and support statutory disclosures including related party transactions, capital commitments, aged debtors, and lease receivables.
  • Preparing tenant budgets, calculate outgoings wash-ups and accruals, and develop tenant outgoings statements and audit-ready analytical workbooks.
  • Maintaining and updating the Anaplan forecasting model, incorporating leasing, OPEX, CAPEX, and other income data. Support the preparation of tenant outgoings forecasts and assist in compiling budget and forecast presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collating valuation packs for the Investment Management team and assist with posting investment property revaluations.
