About the Role Howard is seeking a detail-driven Property Management Accountant to support the financial operations of our multi-property portfolio, including Vacation Rentals (VR) and Homeowners Associations (HOA/HOAS). In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle accounting, deliver accurate financial reporting, and ensure our properties operate with clarity, transparency, and trust. What You’ll Do Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations). Prepare monthly financial statements, owner reports, and property-level summaries. Oversee HOA accounting: assessments, collections, reserves, and project tracking. Handle VR revenue reporting, owner payouts, occupancy taxes, and commission reconciliation. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Maintain compliance with GAAP, HOA standards, and VR regulations. Keep organized, accurate financial records across all entities. What You Bring 3+ years of property management, real estate, VR, or HOA/HOAS accounting experience. Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and GAAP. Proficiency with property management systems (Buildium, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar). Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Clear communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
