JOB OVERVIEW

As a Property Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the properties thoroughly. You will also be responsible for determining the maintenance needs by performing inspections appropriate checks on the property.
Property Inspectors are reporting directly to the Property Manager and are responsible for carrying out any additional duties/tasks required within reason.
To be successful in this job role, you should be ensuring that the residents adhere to all the rules and regulations of leasing agreements. You should be minimizing safety hazards and documenting the inspection plans.
You should possess to demonstrate an extensive understanding of various construction regulations. You should have to possess communication skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Conducting internal and external Property inspections as per the compliance requirements.
  • Completing detailed inspection reports through the Graysons app, while ensuring that all inspection procedures and standards are met.
  • Collecting photographic evidence of any damages identified and raising them as issues on the Graysons app for the Property Manager to action accordingly.
  • Providing advice and recommendations for improvements at the properties where relevant.
  • Ensuring all tenants adhere to the rules and regulations of their tenancy agreements and reporting to the Property Manager when breaches are identified.
  • Quality inspecting works to ensure standards are met.
  • Attending training, safety programs, and staff meetings.
  • Required to have a good knowledge and understanding regulations for the buildings (i.e. HMO regulations, fire safety regulations etc.).
