Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm, with alternate Saturdays, 9am - 1pm
£25,000 - £27,000 per annum

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a property inspector, building inspector, or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with inspection software and digital reporting tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Property Inspector to assess the condition of residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying maintenance or safety issues, and preparing detailed reports to support property management, sales, or compliance efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct on-site inspections of properties to assess structural integrity, safety, and overall condition.
• Identify and document any damage, wear and tear, or code violations.
• Take photographs and measurements to support inspection findings.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with clear observations and recommendations.
• Communicate findings to property owners, managers, or relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards.
• Follow up on previous inspections to verify that recommended repairs or improvements have been completed.
• Perform checkouts and ensure completion of inventories as part of property turnover or routine assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, checkouts, and inventory documentation.
