Job Role: Inventory Clerk

Company Overview:
Wilson inventories ltd is residential inspection company based in and around Central London. We’re on a mission to make inventory reports as streamlined as possible and we hope you can join the cause.
Position Overview:
As a self-employed Inventory clerk, you will conduct both inventory check in and check out reports. Your smartphone will be your trusted device and will allow for you to properly document each defect with self-descriptive photos and detailed wording. This role is heavily based in West London. If you do not reside in this area or are not very keen to travel here then please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property inspections to document property conditions and conditions of inventory and contents, including furniture, fixtures, appliances, and structural conditions.
  • Make use of Inventory Base and a smartphone to capture photos and record information accurately.
  • Ensure the proper description and labeling of defects to minimise discrepancies between Landlords and Tenants.
  • Complete inventory reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with clients if problems are encountered.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years previous experience in the inventory clerk industry, property inspections, or a related field is preferred. (Some training is provided but this is more tailoring to our method of working.)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Some proficiency in using Inventory Base as a software to carry out reports.
  • Physical ability to perform on-site property inspections and responsibilities of the role.
  • To be able to travel across mainly West and into Central London.
