The successful candidate will join the Property, Planning & Environment and Employment Law (PPEEL) Team. The in-house Solicitor will, as a member of the PPEEL Property team, provide legal expertise and advice on conveyancing transactions for ESB.

• The completion of conveyancing transactions, in particular the acquisition of MV substation sites and the granting of easements, from initial instruction to completion and registration
• General commercial conveyancing work looking after the ESBN technical property infrastructure including regularisation of title
• Managing own caseload working closely with line manager
• Working with/supporting other members of the team
• Meeting with and advising ESB business clients in particular ESBN Engineering Officers
• General property law research and advisory work
• Advising on and ensuring adherence with ESB’s Corporate Governance frameworks
