SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive (PQE), or extensive experience as an unqualified lawyer with a proven track record of successfully running your own caseload for several years.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Fee earning with a mixed conveyancing caseload once instructed through to completion, including freehold & leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• In doing so, you will have the assistance of the pre-exchange administration team and completion and registration administration team, who will deal with this on your behalf, calling on your assistance and guidance to do so.
• Ultimate sign-off on all KYC and AML requirements, including on gifted deposits, although the compliance administration team will assist with enquiring and compiling the necessary KYC, SOF and SOW information for you to do so.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the firm’s referrers and potential new ones.
• Adept and confident in using case management systems and other support systems.
• Undertake all necessary training and CPD to comply with our training policy, the competency frameworks of the SRA, the restrictions of GDPR and the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
