JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to support our in house Solicitor in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a conveyancing assistant.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documents and procedures effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Work Location: In perso

• Assist the in-house solicitor with acquisitions, sales, issuing draft contracts, obtaining redemption figures, replying to enquiries, exchanges, lease extensions, registering charges at Land Registry and Companies House.
• Assist the progressions team by chasing solicitors, buyers and brokers for updates, chain progression, checking when their searches are due in, when their mortgage offer is due in, communicating expected completion dates, and ensuring the transaction runs smoothly and quickly.
