ABOUT THE ROLE

Liberty Trail Homes is looking for a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day upkeep and safety of our supported accommodation properties.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience across multiple trades — particularly electrical, joinery, and plumbing — who takes pride in their work and is passionate about maintaining safe, high-quality living environments for vulnerable adults.
Working alongside the Property Operations & Support Manager, you’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance, inspections, and minor refurbishments across our property portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out routine and emergency repairs across multiple properties (e.g. plumbing leaks, minor electrical repairs, door/frame fixes, etc.)
• Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, tiling, flooring, and basic carpentry.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Conduct basic property inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.
• Work with the Property Operations & Support Manager to ensure repairs are prioritised and completed on time.
• Maintain records of work completed, materials used, and tasks pending.
• Transport tools and materials to job sites as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
