PART-TIME PROPERTY & GUEST SUPPORT ASSISTANT – £12.25/HR – OWN CAR REQUIRED (PETROL PAID)

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our Serviced Accommodation team on a part-time, flexible basis. This role is ideal for someone who can work 2–4 days a week, with the flexibility to take on additional days when required.
Pay: £12.25 per hour + petrol expenses covered
On-Call Option: £15 per on-call shift (6pm–9am). If called out, you’ll also be paid for the hours you work at your normal hourly rate.
Location: Across Sheffield
Hours: Part-time (2–4 days per week, including some weekends if required. Flexibility for extra shifts/on-call work is essential.)
Start Date: Immediate
Progression: Potential to move into a full-time role as the business grows

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving between properties across Sheffield for guest check-ins, inspections, deliveries, and ad hoc support (own car required – fuel costs reimbursed)
• Providing excellent customer service – assisting guests with queries, check-ins, and urgent requests
• Cleaning and preparing properties to a high standard
• Lifting and moving items such as linen, supplies, and small furniture
• Performing basic maintenance tasks (painting, minor repairs, fittings, etc.)
• Conducting routine property checks (e.g. Wi-Fi, heating, lighting)
• Responding to fire alarms, assisting with resets, and coordinating emergency response where required
• Reporting serious maintenance or safety issues
• Assisting with on-call duties and last-minute operational needs

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Friendly, professional, and confident when dealing with guests
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Basic DIY/maintenance skills preferred (e.g. painting, fixing loose fittings)
• Calm under pressure and responsive during urgent situations (e.g. fire alarm resets, late check-ins)
• Flexible, reliable, and proactive
• Must have a clean DBS check (within the last 5 years)

This is a part-time role (2–4 days per week) with flexibility to cover extra shifts when needed, plus the option to take on paid on-call shifts (6pm–9am, £15 per shift + hourly pay if called out).
