Description

FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Property Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and support the daily maintenance operations across our property portfolio. As our Property Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure that all buildings and facilities remain safe, functional and well maintained through effective coordination of operatives, contractors and resources. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent, with travel to other sites as required.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a supervisory maintenance or facilities role, ideally within a commercial or residential property environment. You will bring strong technical knowledge across a range of trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC systems. A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent leadership skills, and strong communication and organisational abilities are essential. Health and safety awareness and relevant qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH are highly desirable. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising and coordinating a team of maintenance operatives and external contractors to ensure high-quality and timely maintenance delivery
  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify repair needs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Scheduling and overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Liaising with staff, site managers, and contractors to deliver an efficient and proactive maintenance service
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activity, including job orders, contractor performance and materials used
  • Managing maintenance budgets and supporting the procurement of equipment, tools and materials
  • Providing hands-on support for complex maintenance issues when required
