Description CEC, a subsidiary 501c3, is looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Technician. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Team Lead, the Property Maintenance Technician will maintain and manage the upkeep of the properties in the southern region. HIGHLIGHTS Perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing building damage, for example, window, door, or wall repair. Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures. Assure properties are kept occupied, safe, clean and in a well-maintained condition. Full-time | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays Requirements MUST have a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record! MUST provide two letters of recommendation from previous employers. At least 2 years working in a similar role. Physical strength, including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Mobility, including the ability to climb ladders and fit into tight spaces. Knowledge of general carpentry. Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems. Ability to use power and hand tools. Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Time management and attention to detail skills. General computer literacy. High School Diploma / GED. Bilingual skills are a plus! Proven ability to engage and support individuals with mental health diagnoses using empathy and professionalism.
