Job Description The maintenance technician must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel to our properties in the Newnan, Fayetteville, Tyrone, Stockbridge, McDonough, Villa Rica, Hiram, and Columbus, GA. While performing all job duties he or she is expected to demonstrate a positive attitude. The maintenance technician is expected to keep an organized, orderly supply room and manage the following key aspects of property maintenance (this list is representative, not exhaustive): Clean vacant units Maintain golf carts, gates operators and keypads, and other equipment Perform light inspections and replace light bulbs and ballasts as needed Monitor maintenance supply inventory for re-ordering and keep stock organized in supply rooms Pick up trash around property Spray weeds Pressure washing Inspect, clean, and replace signage Inspect PTAC and HVAC units. Clean and replace filters Clean and mop hallways Transport supplies among the Atlanta locations Turn office suites, including painting, plumbing, and carpentry where needed Wire and mount camera and networking equipment The maintenance technician is expected to work five days a week, typically Monday through Friday, and be on site during the entire day except for a one hour lunch break. Our standard office hours are: M-F: 9am - 6pm Sat: 9am - 4pm Sun: Closed The maintenance technician position is eligible for Storage Xxtra’s employee benefits package, which includes healthcare, 6 days of paid time off for holidays, and 16 additional days of general paid time off for the year. Pay range from $20/hr to $25/hr depending on the level of experience. Mileage reimbursement also included. Responsibilities

The maintenance technician is responsible for keeping supply rooms organized and managing various property maintenance tasks including cleaning vacant units, maintaining equipment like golf carts and gate operators, and performing light repairs. Key duties also involve monitoring supply inventory, trash pickup, pressure washing, inspecting and cleaning HVAC filters, and handling office suite turnovers including painting and minor carpentry.
