CORE JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • To have overall responsibility for the property management of Dublin Simon’s owned residential developments & buildings.
  • To liaise & be the main point of contact within Dublin Simon for the various OMCs and their managing agents.
  • Where appropriate attend AGMs, tenant & community engagement meetings.
  • To assist the other members of the IH team in relation to reviewing the annual service charge invoices, insurance and other payment requests that arise in respect of the properties owned by the organisation.
  • In conjunction with Dublin Simon Finance manage service charge budgets & expenditure for Dublin Simon owned schemes.
  • To help ensure Dublin Simon are compliant with key regulatory bodies such as AHBRA (Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority) and RTB (Residential Tenancies Board) as well as specific legislative issues such as MUD (Multi-Unit Development) Act compliance.
  • To liaise with Assets & Facilities team in relation to repairs & maintenance contractors & expenditure
  • To attend internal and external meetings where appropriate and as requestedTo be accountable for your workload and movements to both your line manager and appropriate senior managers.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As a Property Management Officer (PMO) you will be part of the Independent Housing (IH) team located in Red Cow Lane, Smithfield providing services within the following counties - Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wicklow, Louth. The main objective for the PMO is to manage Dublin Simon’s own residential schemes & developments and liaise with Owner Management Companies (OMCs) & managing agents.

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

  • 2 years’ plus experience working in a property / facilities management environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • IT skills including Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
  • Own transport with full unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Desirable / Advantageous for the role
  • Hold or be eligible for PSRA (Property Services Regulatory Authority) Licence.
  • Degree or Diploma in Property Economics, Estate Management or similar.
  • Passion for helping people, with ability to work in an agile environment and problem-solve.Experience of working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
