Description

The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the rental assets, communicating with the tenants, managing the move in and move out process with tenants and all other functions relating to management and maintenance of the residential rental assets
Reports to: President and CEO and VP Asset Management

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills (if you do not like people, this is not the job for you)
  • Must be an excellent communicator and able to deal with occasional difficult situations
  • Excellent time management, and the ability to work independent of direct supervision
  • Strong ability to work with others and contribute to a team environment
  • A willingness to learn new systems and procedures
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Physically able to fulfill the job responsibilities
    *Salary- $90,000 per year + Cell Phone + Computer + Benefits Package

Responsibilities
  • Arranging viewings of vacant units with potential tenants
    -Placing Rental Ads for vacant units for rent
  • Addressing tenant maintenance requests
  • Participating in weekly operations meetings
  • Supervising third party trades and arranging maintenance appointments when required
  • Ensuring all contracted service providers are performing as required
    -Performing and arranging Move-in/Move-out Inspections with tenants
  • Preparing rental suites for new occupants
  • Conduct daily and weekly checks of building appearance and vacant units
  • Responding to afterhours emergencies with tenants and building maintenance when required
  • Communicating directly with the tenants regarding their concerns and settling tenant disputes.
