POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Manager to support and oversee our property operations in Hamilton. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager and Sr. Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient management of our residential communities. Your responsibilities will include team leadership and supervision, marketing & leasing, operations and management, maintenance, financial operations, compliance and legal, and resident relations. As a Senior Property Manager, you will also serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction for our residents, team members, and partners.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Property Management. Post-secondary education in Property Management or related fields is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with tenants and team members.
  • Client-focused relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with superior conflict resolution abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and flexibility to meet job demands.
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), Fire Codes, Building Codes, and Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) proceedings.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including responding to communications outside of normal business hours.
  • Familiarity with smartphone and tablet technology.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
