PROPERTY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Property Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager
Location: Prince George, BC
Start Date: Fall 2025

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in property management or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi experience is an asset).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of residential leasing, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.

• Ensure that MCC beliefs and values—including social justice, non-violent peacemaking, respectful interactions, and working relationships—are modeled and reflected in all responsibilities.
• Lead and manage all property staff in Prince George, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
• Oversee property maintenance, ensuring timely repairs, preventative upkeep, and vendor coordination.
• Manage leasing operations including marketing, tenant screening, lease execution, and renewals.
• Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction through responsive service and community engagement.
• Monitor property budgets, expenses, and financial performance; assist with forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports for the Regional Manager.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff; maintain job descriptions and procedural documentation.
• Assist with emergency response planning and implementation.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
