QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in property or similar management experience considered an asset. (minimum five years management experience required)
  • Experience developing and maintaining long term customer relations
  • Experience in problem solving, working under pressure, and willing to work hard.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate and skilled with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
    Note, this type of role requires flexibility in work schedules, night meetings, and the willingness/ability to work overtime as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College or university diploma/degree (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License and vehicle (Required)
  • Property Manager: minimum of 3 years (Required)

Licence:

  • CMRAO - General License (Required)

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate notices and owner/resident correspondence
  • Preparation of annual budgets for portfolio of properties
  • Monitor onsite personnel
  • Implement/monitor preventative maintenance schedules
  • Meet with vendors onsite to obtain quotes where required
  • Coordinate/assist/attend AGM, board meetings and special meetings
  • Prepare management reports
  • Coordinate/assist with reserve fund studies and performance audits
  • Respond to owner & resident inquiries
  • Perform periodic property inspections of the properties, coordinate deficiency repairs and provide status updates with respect to projects in progress
  • Match invoices to approved purchase orders and code accordingly
  • Keep on top of deadlines/commitments and pro-actively follow-up
  • Work with Property Administrator to coordinate and communicate effectively
