Description We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Waterbury, Connecticut. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of a 63 unit affordable housing community. The successful candidate should be highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A working familiarity with the LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus. This position will report directly to the Regional Property Manager. Property Management responsibilities include but are not limited to: Marketing, waitlist management, and leasing Screening and recertifying tenants Rent collections and evictions Turnovers and move-outs Supervising on site administrative and maintenance staff Communication with residents and resolution of complaints and issues Handling emergency situations as needed Budget preparation Processing payables and receivables Inspections Benefits include Health, Dental, optional Vision and Supplemental, Life Insurance, LTD & STD, Flex Spending, 401(k) with generous Match, Paid Time Off, and Holiday pay. Requirements College education or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of multi-site multifamily property management experience. Familiarity with Low Income Tax Credit program. Valid Drivers License. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to follow-through to meet resident, agency, and organizational needs.
