PROPERTY SERVICES INSPECTOR – VAL ROBERTS HOUSE, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 37HRS, FRWK15, £33,043 – 35,412, FTE

Framework’s Property Services team are looking for a knowledgeable Property Services Inspector to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to impact on the quality of our residents’ lives, through supporting the upkeep and maintenance of our wide portfolio of properties, allowing them to be used and enjoyed by the residents and staff alike.
You will need to have strong trade and property maintenance knowledge and an aptitude to solving complexed repair issue, an excellent eye for detail and the ability to write and deliver reports to a high level.
Do you have the ability to be able to carry out pre-inspections and or post inspection of selected responsive repair works, Damp and Mould issues and reported defects on new builds, once handed over as directed, then to arrange for all works identified to be completed as necessary to include post-inspecting all completed works and issuing/authorising relevant works orders.
You will need to be flexible to assist with any survey works required in order to update the Association’s as and when directed. Driving licence essential.
To carry out any joint inspections when required with the Housing Management team and or the Support Teams to ensure we meet the tight deadlines outlined within set KPIs to an exceptionally high standard.
You will work closely with the Property Service Manager and the central teams to make sure we work within our own policies and procedures and all legislation linked to property maintenance set out for housing associations and relevant guidelines.
To liaise with residents, relevant staff, and contractors during the completion of all works as necessary. To maintain adequate records of all inspections including reporting to relevant officers as necessary.
A good understanding of budget management to ensure value for money and financial compliance is essential.
