JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Real Estate Analyst for our client who are a growing professional services firm . The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial services, enabling them to evaluate investment opportunities and provide insightful recommendations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and tools, as well as the ability to perform thorough audits and reconciliations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in property tax analysis, real estate taxation, or financial analysis is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or property tax software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex property tax and financial data.
  • Knowledge of property tax laws, assessment procedures, and appeals processes is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Research local, state, and federal property tax regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential savings opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on property tax findings, trends, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage property tax appeals processes, including drafting documentation, coordinating with assessors, and tracking deadlines.
  • Review and reconcile property tax accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support property tax strategies and process improvements.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting property tax liabilities and related expenses.
