Job Description ead the formulation and optimization of offshore project technical solutions, including but not limited to topside module integration, offshore platform construction, FPSO conversion/construction, subsea system integration, and onshore fabrication & offshore installation solutions. Participate in project bidding stage: conduct technical feasibility analysis, prepare technical proposals, respond to client technical inquiries, and provide professional solution suggestions to support bid winning. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, procurement, construction) to integrate technical requirements, resolve interface conflicts, and ensure the consistency and feasibility of project solutions. Review and optimize basic design and detailed design documents, focus on constructability, operability, maintainability, and cost control, put forward constructive technical improvement suggestions. Develop and implement technical solutions for key project links: fabrication process optimization, offshore lifting & installation scheme, commissioning test plan, and technical risk mitigation measures. Resolve complex technical problems during project execution, including design conflicts, fabrication difficulties, installation challenges, and coordinate with clients, vendors, third-party inspectors (TPI) and classification societies (DNV/ABS/CCS) to reach technical consensus. Prepare technical solution reports, feasibility studies, technical specifications, and construction technical guidelines, ensure all documents comply with international standards (API, ISO, DNV, ABS) and project requirements. Track the latest offshore technologies, industry trends and standard updates, integrate advanced technologies and solutions into project practice to improve project efficiency and reduce costs. Support project quality and safety management, ensure technical solutions meet HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) requirements, and avoid technical risks that may affect project progress and safety. Mentor junior engineers, participate in technical training, and improve the overall technical capability of the project solution team. Qualifications achelor’s degree or above in Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering or related disciplines. Minimum 5–7 years of working experience in offshore projects, with solid experience in technical solution formulation, project coordination and technical problem-solving (FPSO, offshore platform, topside module projects are preferred). In-depth understanding of offshore project lifecycle, familiar with engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning processes, and master the key technical points of each stage. Proficient in international offshore industry standards and classification society rules: API, ISO, DNV, ABS, CCS, able to independently review technical documents and formulate compliant solutions. Strong technical research and solution design ability, able to independently complete feasibility analysis and technical solution formulation for complex offshore projects. Excellent communication, coordination and negotiation skills, able to effectively coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, clients, vendors and third parties. Fluent in written and spoken English, able to independently prepare English technical proposals, reports, and communicate with foreign clients and international teams. Familiar with project management tools and design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, Tekla, etc.) is preferred. Strong sense of responsibility, pressure resistance, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet project milestones.
