Catalent is seeking a dynamic Proposal Lead to join our Bathgate facility, playing a key role within our Client Relationship team. This position is central to managing the full proposal lifecycle—from opportunity scoping to final quotation delivery—ensuring proposals are commercially sound, technically feasible, and aligned with business goals. The Role: You will lead the creation and delivery of accurate, executable quotations and QARs. Collaborate with Project Management, Business Development, Operations, Quality, and Finance to meet client expectations and internal margin targets. Oversee stakeholder input and approvals throughout the proposal process. Drive communication across departments to gather technical scope, costing data, and operational insights. Partner with Operations to identify efficient, cost-effective solutions for development, manufacturing, and packaging. Coordinate with other Catalent sites to support global proposal needs. Engage directly with clients and participate in meetings to support proposal discussions. Address client feedback on pricing and proposal content. Maintain client-specific templates and documentation. Work with BD, Operations, and Finance to develop value-based pricing strategies. Contribute to team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. The Candidate: Proven experience in preparing detailed proposals or tender bids. Understanding of cGMP and FDA-regulated environments (preferred). Strong grasp of contract development and commercial frameworks. Excellent client-facing skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Effective communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities. Analytical thinker with solid financial acumen and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and other relevant tools.
