Overview:
CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our growing team. The Proposal Manager will lead teams in the development of Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and other related customer response deliverables. The Proposal Manager will be responsible for analyzing the RFP/RFQ requirements, developing a compliance matrix, initiating a proposal preparation/review schedule, ensuring compliance across the proposal, and driving teams to meet proposal schedule deadlines and deliverables. The Proposal Manager will be a key player on CommIT’s Growth Team helping to develop win strategies, cohesive proposal themes, and potential discriminators.
Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCSS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading-edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.
Responsibilities:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum five (5) years of proposal management experience with US Government/DoD proposals; certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals a plus.
  • Experience following proposal processes modeled on Shipley best practices
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to interpret complex internal customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to successfully lead teams in a dynamic environment
  • General knowledge of U.S. Government competitive procurement approaches and regulations (such as FAR 15, FAR 16, OTAs, CSOs; RFP, FOPR)
  • Must be eligible for DoD Security Clearance
