The Role
Job Description: Reporting to : Business Manager Product Line : Gas Treating Process Skid Packages Proposal Manager is responsible for preparing Techno-Commercial Proposals, Cost Estimation, Technical Clarifications, Preparing & Floating Sub-Supplier RFQs, Preparing BOQs/MTOs for Fabrication Quotes, E&I Items, and other various Bought our components in the Process Skid Packages. Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage the proposal process from opportunity to award. • Ensure adequate evaluation of request for quotation requirements and Project specifications. • Ensure scope definition, technical / commercial accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of proposal submission. • Provide customer support to sales team via bid clarification meetings, pre-bid technical meetings etc. • Ensure a smooth and efficient transition of information to Project’s Department upon award. • Knowledge of Piping and structural E&I Discipline is advantage • Preparation of data sheets, specifications, purchasing documents, technical evaluation for Mechanical equipment and Bulk items. • Familiar with KOC, ADNOC, SAUDI ARAMCO, PDO, Qatar Energy Shell DEP’s, International codes is advantage • Liaison / coordination with both internal resources (other departments, sales, etc.) as well as external (i.e., clients, sub vendors, etc.) to develop relationships and encourage a “team” culture. • Assist in the development and maintenance of quoting tools and procedures in order to improve the process and increase accuracy and success of proposals. • Position may require International travel.
Requirements
Skills and Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with OEM’s, EPC or EPCM/PMCs •Chemical / Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications and experience • Manufacturing Knowledge/experience is an asset • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines • Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Ability to achieve excellent performance in individual and team environments • Ability to work remotely effectively and with limited supervision as needed • Demonstrated ability for on-time performance in a fast-paced work environment
