Description Hana Engineers and Consultants, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented full-time Proposal Specialist to support our expanding proposal team. This position plays a key role in developing compliant, compelling proposals for federal, state, local, and private sector clients.-oriented -time position plays a key role in developing compliant, compelling proposals for federal, state, local, and private-sector clients. Duty Location(s): Hybrid in North Charleston, SC (in-office minimum of two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday). Core Roles/Responsibilities: You’ll collaborate with the Senior Management, Proposal Coordinator, and technical teams to support all phases of the proposal process, including: Proposal Coordination & Organization Maintain Hana internal proposal tracking systems. Help develop timelines, milestones, and internal review plans. Coordinate inputs with internal team members and subcontractors. Document Development & Production Support the creation, formatting, and production of proposal documents to include Market Research, Data Calls, Cost Estimates, and Multi-Section Proposals. Prepare compliance matrices, proposal checklists, and supporting documentation. Ensure all proposal materials meet client requirements and internal quality standards. Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Tools & Systems Work with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Use proposal management tools such as Expedience (training provided). Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal development or proposal support. Familiarity with the A/E/C industry or federal proposals (SF 330 experience is a plus). Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and stay detail-focused. Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative team Preferred Qualifications: Experience with content management or collaboration tools (Expedience, Notion, OneDrive). Basic familiarity with graphic or template-based design tools (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Final Cut Pro). Technical writing or editing experience. Database or data-entry experience. Additional Considerations: Occasional approved overtime may be required during peak proposal deadlines. Starting pay = $62,500 - $75,000 depending on experience.
