Description
Lead and manage high-complexity, high-value pursuits, including multi-tower, multi-region, or strategic deals with executive visibility. Own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, including strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of compliant, compelling, and client-focused responses. Define and drive the proposal strategy in collaboration with Sales, Solution, Delivery, and Executive Leadership, ensuring alignment with client priorities and win themes. Establish and manage detailed proposal schedules, governance structures, and communication plans to ensure clarity, accountability, and timely execution across all workstreams. Anticipate and mitigate risks by proactively identifying bottlenecks, resource constraints, or compliance issues, and escalating to leadership with actionable solutions. Conduct deep analysis of RFx documents to extract strategic insights, evaluation criteria, and competitive positioning opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Finance, and Delivery to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment across all proposal components. Lead the creation of high-impact presentation materials for orals, executive briefings, and client workshops, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual storytelling. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, implementing best practices, and contributing to proposal operations enhancements. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level proposal professionals, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the team. Contribute to strategic initiatives such as proposal automation, content management optimization, and pursuit enablement programs. Serve as a trusted advisor to pursuit leadership and executive stakeholders, offering insights on pursuit strategy, client engagement, and competitive positioning. 8-10 years of experience in Bid/Proposal Management. Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel etc.) Good knowledge of GenAI and AI-augmented proposal management tools. Subject Matter Expertise in proposal and RFP best practices. Confidently analyze complex proposal requirements. Lead multiple projects and coordinate deadlines. Write and communicate clearly and persuasively. Use proposal management tools expertly. Guide teams with strategic insight across regions. APMP Practitioner certification. Experience leading strategic pursuits with executive visibility. Strong understanding of competitive intelligence and win strategy development. Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive consensus. Experience contributing to proposal process improvement or automation initiatives.
