Overview Proposals Managers are responsible for managing the full lifecycle of high-quality proposals and executing marketing efforts that elevate the company brand and support strategic business growth. This role works closely with operations, business development, and executive leadership to ensure all communications and proposals effectively reflect the company’s capabilities, values, and commitment to excellence. About UCCO: Underground Construction Co., Inc. has provided quality gas, power, airport fueling and telecom construction services for over 80 years. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end proposal process, including planning, writing, editing, formatting, and final delivery of RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs. (Request for Proposal=RFP, Request for Quote=RFQ, Statements of Qualifications=SOQ). Collaborate with technical and operational staff to gather content and create persuasive, client-focused messaging. Maintain and update proposal content libraries, project descriptions, and marketing collateral. Analyze proposal outcomes and marketing performance metrics to improve future strategies. Ensure brand consistency across all communications and marketing platforms. Other related duties and projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in proposal development, marketing, or communications—preferably in construction, engineering, or professional services. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on persuasive and technical content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Experience with CRM systems and content management platforms is a plus. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with diverse teams under pressure. Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills. Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites, industry events, or client meetings as required Pay- $ 75,000 - $ 105,000 /Annually *Depending on Experience Benefits include-- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Our projects are regulated by federal and state laws which require all employees to successfully pass criminal background checks, MVR, and drug tests (post-employment and random testing).
