About The Role:
Our Electrification & Innovation (E&I) business empowers Australians to transition towards a cleaner energy future. As an end-to-end electrification business, we convert the best ideas into products which have the potential to radically transform the way Australians live for generations to come.
The Proposition Manager (Electrification and Innovation) is embedded within the E&I team, as a member of the Core Product team, that delivers competitive, sustainable products in Australia, balancing gross margin optimisation with acquisition and retention goals.
The Proposition Manager (E&I) is responsible for integrating electrification products into the Core portfolio and helps inspire, coach and create a future where the best energy plan matches the electrification assets customers chose for their home. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Core Product, this role supports electrification product and pricing activities, ensuring profitable, customer-focused propositions that drive growth. It requires strong team engagement and deep product knowledge.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the creation of innovative and integrated electrification propositions, coach E&I managers on scaling frameworks, and ensure sustainable product growth.
  • Manage go-to-market strategies for electrification propositions, execute their integration into the core portfolio, and handle change management and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with internal and external strategic partners to create new offerings and customer segments, and spot trends and opportunities for product bundling.
  • Utilise data analytics to forecast product demand, support market position analysis, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead and influence the teams launching propositions, provide expertise across the organization, and improve customer experience and business opportunities with Consumer Growth, Brand & Marketing, and Commercial Planning & Insights teams.

About you:

  • Previous demonstrated experience in a product or proposition role in the energy industry.
  • Knowledge of the energy transition affecting Australian households and a passion to have a positive impact.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, project management and leadership skills, with proven ability to lead both large and small-scale projects.
  • Effectively engage with key internal stakeholders and cross-functional business areas.
  • Proven experience in proposition development and implementation (including go-to- market activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, including front line and executive level stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in a complex legal and regulatory environment, with defined guardrails.
