POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a curious, hands-on Product Owner who’s hard working and eager to learn. You’ll work closely with our Portfolio Manager, engineering, analytics, and business partners to deliver data products and AI-enabled experiences—from dashboards and semantic layers to copilots and process automations. You’ll be mentored by the VP, Data & AI and senior product leaders, with room to grow into a lead PO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–4 years in a digital / data / analytics / AI environment (could include co-op/internships) in roles like BA, analyst, scrum master, junior PM/PO, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous business needs into crisp user stories and prioritize for impact.
  • Fluent with Agile practices and tools (Jira/Confluence or similar).
  • Solid communication skills in English and French; comfortable facilitating workshops and demos.
  • Learner’s mindset: curious, resourceful, adaptable; bias to action.
  • Exposure to data platforms and BI (e.g., SQL basics, semantic models, dashboarding, metrics).
  • Familiarity with cloud & lakehouse/warehouse concepts (e.g., Azure, Databricks, AWS), and modern ELT & catalog patterns.
  • Awareness of ML / GenAI lifecycle (prompting, evaluation, human-in-the-loop, responsible AI).
  • Certifications like PSPO I / CSPO or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the backlog of one or more products (e.g., operations insights, marketing attribution, forecasting, AI assistants).
  • Clarify needs in terms of objectives, hypotheses, and success metrics.
  • Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; prioritize accordingly.
  • Collaborate with data/ML engineers, architects, analysts, UX designers, and business partners.
  • Conduct product discovery: workshops, process mapping, user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure incremental delivery: sprints, demos, feedback loops.
  • Focus on quality and trust: reliability, privacy/security, responsible AI.
  • Communicate effectively: roadmaps, release notes, impact dashboards.Product Ownership Methodologies: Strong understanding of product ownership methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Product Ownership Tools: Proficiency with tools such as Jira.
