PROPS MAGIC TECHNICIAN – ALIZÉ – RESIDENT SHOWS DIVISION

Full-Time Position
We are looking for a Props Magic Technician to join our Props Magic team! This position’s main responsibility will be to construct, maintain and run show cue tracks in a safe and consistent manner, with the guidance of the Head of Department (“HOD”), Props Magic. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have excellent communication and be the ultimate team player to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the show.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of experience in professional Props;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD;
• In-depth experience in theatrical props for large scale productions;
• Proven skill in props fabrication, wood and metal construction;
• Sculpture and scenic painting skills an asset;
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays;
• High school diploma or GED completion; Completed Ausbildung as Veranstaltungstechniker/in (Event Technician) or equivalent qualification in stage technology.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job including, but not limited to: climbing, crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, sometimes for extended amounts of time; lifting at least 50lbs, working with limited to no visibility; Full list of essential functions will be sent in the offer.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Ability to clearly and effectively communicate via headset; with an international cast the operational language will be English;
