ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in library sciences, liberal arts,information management, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years in an administrative capacity, with a minimum of two or more years of experience in advancement/fundraising preferred.
  • Experience with prospect management/tracking, with prospect research experience desirable, preferably in an academic environment.
  • Experience advising on strategies for potential prospects and use data to make recommendations.
  • Experience planning and implementing projects, including developing project schedules, milestones, critical path, timelines, deliverables and reporting.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing timelines.
  • Experience preparing reports from multiple data sources.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of training programs and related documents
  • Superior computer skills and analysing data within a complex CRM database.
  • Strong working knowledge of word processing and advanced fluency in spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Ability to provide advice on data requirements.
  • Proven training and coaching skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with colleagues to achieve specific goals.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills including strong editing, spelling and grammar skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate ideas and explain procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with colleagues to achieve specific goals. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a diverse group of persons.
