Position #: 9010428 / V51724 Expected Start Date: March 29, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Wascana Rehabilitation Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Prosthetics Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 8 HR Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Prosthetist - Senior $46.895 to $56.998 Travel Required: No Job Description: Reporting to the manager of the Orthotics Prosthetics Department and provides oversight and supervision to the prosthetics team.  The senior Prosthetist is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team who provides prosthetic services by way of assessing, manufacturing, and fitting prosthetic devices as prescribed by a physician. The senior position builds these services on an individual and team basis. The Clinician provides education to inpatient and outpatient clients and team members related to prosthetic devices, fit and usage. The senior is considered an expert in the field to whom team members can seek advice and who can direct the educational needs of the team in tandem the educator.  The Clinician works closely with registered technicians and provides direction and supervision for technical aspects of prosthetic devices. The senior ensures quality fabrication, adjustments and fit for optimal client satisfaction and outcomes, individually and as a team. The senior works closely with technical and support staff (office and stockroom) to ensure smooth service delivery. Seniors are involved in arranging and planning internships/residency. The senior may facilitate research projects involving the department.
