Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance and commissioning of primary, secondary, and communications equipment in distribution, zone and sub-transmission substations and networks to ensure the safety, reliability, sustainability, and affordability for our customers and network assets.

ABOUT OUR TECHNICIAN ROLES:
Protection/Telecontrol Technicians specialise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secondary and primary electrical systems, which typically include protection and control, in substations and power networks. These technicians ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely and efficiently by working with relays, circuit breakers, transformers, and communication systems
On the other hand, a Voltage Regulation Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the stability of electrical power systems by managing Power Transformers. These technicians play a crucial role in preventing power fluctuations that could damage equipment or disrupt service.
